This week Chef Kevin gives a new take on several holiday favorites: the green bean casserole and candied yams.  5Creating his own savory sauce base, Kevin upgrades the traditional green bean must-have into a phenomenal mouth-watering treat.  And he doesn’t stop there.  Taking healthy yet bland yams and dressing them up with brown sugar, dried prunes and marshmallows, Kevin proves once again that this is his kitchen.  6Delightfully flavored, lightly textured–the yams earn gold and should be served at every Thanksgiving celebration!  Topping off his holiday specialities, Chef Kevin whips up his amazing and scrumptious pumpkin bars.  Who needs pie when you have these fluffy treats to go around?  9Providing us with an optional cream cheese frosting, Chef Kevin proves once again that cooking can be easy and delicious.  While Chef Kevin is busy in the kitchen, In The Know’s Tim shares with us some interesting facts about green beans and their nutritional benefits – answering your question about why mom’s around the globe love pairing their meals with these string beans!
