Bonjour!  This week on Cooking With Kevin, Chef Kevin transports us to Paris, tantalizing our taste buds with his succulent Chicken Cordon Bleu.  ep4_5With only 5 ingredients, Kevin cooks the chicken to perfection, coating it with a creamy sauce before adding cheese and ham to make this traditional French cuisine.  To compliment the meal, he throws together a Potato-Pepper Stir Fry.  ep4_3Yummy! Meanwhile, In the Know’s Tim explains the meaning of Cordon Bleu, Get Smart’s Brenna talks about purchasing in season and local vegetables.  And–always ready to give her wonderful advice, Helpful Tips’ Julie instructs us about proper vegetable storage.  It’s a delicieux show, folks!

Things Are Changing Behind the Scenes!

We wanted to apologize for any errors or “snafus” you may have noticed on the show of late.  Cooking With Kevin had their producer step down from editing after season 2 in preparation of her third child, and therefore this season has been a transition – training a new editor, shifting of priorities – but we want you to know how important you are to us and that we love putting together the show for you.  Please Keep Cooking with Kevin and we’ll keep the deliciousness coming!

Thanks,

The Cooking With Kevin Staff

Buying local is always a good idea – and what a better way to take advantage of the start of fresh veggie season than making Chef Kevin’s scrumptious Veggie Wraps with home-made Garlic Herb Tortillas???  Nothing tastes so fresh, satisfying, and plain tasty!  Join us this week as Kevin shows us step-by-step how to create these mouth-watering wraps.

Slicing up fresh herbs, Kevin adds them to the tortilla dough before cooking them to perfection on the stove.  Veggie Wrap 1After allowing them cool, he adds his original mix of veggies before rolling up the wrap and sharing with us a little taste of heaven.  And then always one to satisfy the sweet-tooth’s cravings, Chef Kevin bakes his delicious local Peach Crisp – giving us viewers a chance to be naughty & nice Peach Cobberl 3(though since it contains primarily peaches, I don’t think your body will notice that technically it’s a dessert).

Finally, adding their fun antics to the mix, In the Know’s Tim talks about tortillas while Get Smart’s Brenna educates us about wraps.  And finishing up this fun episode, Helpful Tips’ Julie teaches us how to select the perfect peach.  It’s a full show, folks!
