- 1 lb Green Beans (Fresh)
- 2-1/2 Tbsps Butter
- 1/3 Cup Onion, Chopped
- 2-3 Tbsps Bacon Bits (or Fresh Bacon, Chopped)
- 1/4 Cup Water
Add butter and onion to pan and cook onion until brown or clear. Meanwhile, rinse the green beans and trim ends. Add the green beans, bacon bits and water to the pan and cover. Simmer contents at low to medium heat for 25 to 30 minutes, or until green beans are tender. Serve immediately.
