Warm up with this spicy Italian soup compliments Guest Chef Brenna — she returns!  Watch as she teaches Chef Kevin one of her favorite go-to winter soups, new23browning the sausage before adding garlic and layering sliced potatoes and kale and adding savory chicken broth to the pot.

Chef Kevin compliments the dish with his flaky baking powder biscuits and tops off the meal with delicious no-back chocolate cookies, proving once again that you CAN avoid gluten and dairy and still savor your sweets.

Adding to the mix are Kevin’s side-kicks, Tim, Kelsey and Julie.  In the Know’s Tim shares some interesting facts about soup, while Get Smart’s Kelsey gives us a lesson on baking powder – such as – did you know it can expire?!  And contributing her wisdom, Helpful Tips’s Julie shares some secrets about how to cool down a spicy meal – something that might come in handy if Guest Chef Brenna’s soup is a little too ‘hot’ for you!  It’s another full show, folks!

Gluten-Free Special!

Raw/Vegan/GF/Dairy-Free Lemon Coconut Balls

This week Chef Kevin goes gluten-free!  Creating his own tasty gluten-free pizza crust, Kevin proves that just because your crust doesn’t have regular flour doesn’t mean it has to be as tough as cardboard or taste like it either!  new14Delightfully light and flavored with a hint of italian seasoning, you’ll be coming back for seconds!  new6To add to the meal, Chef Kevin slices up potatoes and bakes up some tasty wedges.  Drizzling olive oil over the potato slices and seasoning them to perfection, they top off a perfect weekend meal.  And the yumminess doesn’t stop there.  new18Guest Chef Amanda makes her first appearance on the show, teaching Chef Kevin how to make a raw/vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free dessert!  new9Using her powerful food processor, she blends up a mixture of nuts, coconut, and lemon to create a visual and mouth-watering masterpiece.
